The laboratory is a public institution with the legal entity. It carries no administrative ranking and operates by a market-oriented mechanism. CPC grass-roots units are structured by the relevant provisions for public institutions. The laboratory is governed by the council and headed by the director. The council, formed upon the resolution of the provincial government, is the top decision-making body for the management and operation of the laboratory. Academic committee is the academic guidance and advisory body for laboratory’s science research activities. Entrusted by the laboratory council, the academic committee carries out independent decision-making counseling and target supervision for the research and academic activities of the laboratory.
